1. 2. The audible book version is still far, far away, so don’t run down to Audible or Books-on-Tape and harrass the poor sales clerk.  On second thought, go ahead.  Ask them why they don’t carry “the greatest Future Historical novel of our time.”

And if they try to inform you that there is no such genre of Future Historical Novel, just smile and say, “there is now.”

does Project Timeslip actually foretell our future?

Decades after the Holocaust, triggered by an accidental release of germ warfare agents, the Perfect States of America is controlled by the National Apartheid Party. Since the ethnically-tailored biological agents eliminated most of the Caucasian population, the Black survivors have crafted a new society in America. However, their vision of society does not include the outlying Hispanic, Asian, and Native minorities that struggle to survive on the edge of this perfect society in isolated clans. Although the different clans seldom interact with each other, many share a hope for redemption according to an ancient prophecy.

A mysterious, pale-skinned visitor brings new ideas about status and social equality.  His rebellious actions trigger a series of events that endanger the stability of two societies.

 

Daniel William’s true journey is not into the future; but along the path he cannot resist following—from visitor to provider, to clan warrior, to leader of clans.  At every turn, his actions seem to fulfill an ancient prophecy, but his growing popularity becomes a threat to leaders of the status quo.
